Edwin Diamond’s “analysis of what you dream and why” was published in 1962 by Doubleday (and by Eyre and Spottiswoode in the UK) . A graduate from the University of Chicago, Diamond (1925–1997) worked on newspapers and for the International News Service. In 1957 he became Science Editor of Newsweek and in 1961 was named a General Editor. For the last thirteen years of his life, he was a professor of journalism at New York University.
